Can't get bp out of my freakin' chair!

Ok, so this all started this morning.
l put my blue eyed Leucistic down for a moment to grab something out of another room (I know, I know shouldn't have left her alone even if it was for 30 seconds but she was curled up on a pillow she seems to think is hers). Come back 30 seconds later... No Lucy on the pillow, after a few minutes found herein the inner workings of my leather recliner. I've found it virtually impossible to coax her out (certainly don't want the inner workings of the chair to hurt her by moving it around, try to dismantle it and freak her out)..... My question is has anyone encountered a ball python in the inner workings of your recliners? Any bright ideas to try?.. Since tomorrow is feeding day I went ahead and tried frozen thawed and placed it at the base of the recliner hoping she'd come out. I even tried another frozen/thawed and then "brained" it because typically the feed response is REALLY REALLY fast. No luck. And now I've even tried a couple water mists to trigger her moving out on her own (I did this indirectly so she wouldn't recognize me as doing the misting). No luck still..
    Any ideas?

Hm.. I'm not sure.. You could try blowing a hair drier near her, on low most likely? Not sure if this is even good to do but it's the only other thing I can think of.. sorry and good luck!

Eek :s I would think that your best bet is leaving a mouse wherever is closest to her that she can climb out and reach. Maybe plug in a heat pad and place it next to the mouse too, for good measure.

Good luck! I've almost gotten my Dumeril's stuck in the sides of a recliner just a few weeks ago... Fortunately, it was just the tail half of her body wrapped around the inside, so I coaxed her out.

Yeah, already cut through a layer of nylon, then through a layer of insulation and thin wood. It sucks because I got the new furniture 3 weeks ago.
just terrified to move the chair and her end up getting hurt. I REALLY love this girl more than any other pets I've ever had. I was thinking an indirect shot of canned air....

I'm gonna keep up with the food by the area of the chair she's inside of, put her favorite hide by that and I've got a junk drawer with a couple older iPhones pointed at the area and streaming the video feed to an iPad.
Im also one of the unlucky few that works overnight shifts so I'm getting more and more nervous (gotta leave for work at about 1045).

.... She certainly is much more patient than I am, lol.

Re: Can't get bp out of my freakin' chair!

I would start cutting the recliner when it gets closer to when you have to go to work. Just cut just deep enough to get in but not near the snake so you dont cut her. Also cut somewhere it can be stitched back together and not as noticeable, under a cushion or under it would be even better. If you left with the snake still in there it could get out and move before you came home. Furniture can be repaired or replaced, a pet cannot.

Could you move the chair to a cooler place? If she gets cold she may leave to seek out heat. Or if it's cold already make it a lot warmer. If she's warmed up she may explore.

Can you see where she is in the chair such that you could judge whether (gently) tipping it onto its side would a) be safe and b) give you enough access to get at her?
Mountain bikes are for slow people, and reptiles are far better pets than cats & dogs!

I would put ice packs on the chair, and a heating pad on the floor nearby with the hide from her tank/tub on it (with a towel on the heating pad.
