Here is reason #1, your animal is not fed enough at close to 200 grams your BP can eat a prey much larger than a fuzzy rat. Ideal prey at this stage should be equal the animal's girth size.

To give you an idea I feed fuzzy rats to hatchlings as their very first or third meal.

Now there could be other things at play, stress mainly which can be due to husbandry issues (temps too high or too low, lack of security with hides not being tight enough, enclosure being too big etc) and also over handling.

The key is to meet your BP's need to a T and feed it enough and still keep in mind that at that age they still tend to be defensive.
