Family emergency/ Hatchling bp gone??

I had a friend watching my snakes while I was out of town for six weeks for a family emergency; long story short my friend didn't double check the lid on my hatchlings tub and he got out and has yet to be found and I found out tonight(just got home a few hours ago) that he has been gone a month!!!! while I am very upset she didnt tell me I am more worried about my snake. He was 200+ grams. What is the longest time you have had a snake get out and was found alive? Thanks.

Three weeks for a BRB, six weeks for a garter.

Put down water bowls with a hide right next to it, he's probably very thirsty by now. Also get a live hopper mouse, some rodent food, and a VERY SECURE enclosure for it, the smell of the feeder may lure him out of hiding.

X2 on a live mouse in a container that only lets out the smell and not the mouse. LoL

I had a baby corn snake disappear, only to come out of hiding eight months later. He was probably around thirty grams when we lost him. Besides being very thin and weak when we found him, he recovered very well. I agree with Pit set up some safe traps with food, I have heard people have luck with funnel traps. Another trick I have heard is to place plastic bags on the floor against the walls and turn off the lights. Wait until you hear the snake rustling in the bags.
