Re: Don't Bother me.....
Very nice Reinz. Our boas do not soak like he does though lol. I agree though I love the boas and the carpets. I don't know if I could pick one over the other because they are both awesome in their own ways.

Just 1 Jumbo every 3.5 -4 weeks. However if you went by girth it could easily be 2 -3 jumbos which is too much for a sedentary animal in my opinion.

Reason: can't type worth beans
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
Mack The Knife, 2013
Lizzy, 2010
Etta, 2013
1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
Esmarelda , 2014
Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017
Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

Punch only usually just soaks for about week at a time. And that is usually about a week or two before shed. Humidity is 50-60 and 70 at signs of blue.
Now Elenore lives in her bowl. Only comes out about 1-2% of the time, to eat and shed. Same humidity levels as Punch. She also never basks, even after eating.
Now she was a rescue and had no heat, water, or hide. And those people rescued her off of someone's porch with a rat problem.
So I guess Elenore is making up for the lack of water and feels fine with ambient temps.
I also think her bowl is her security.

Elenore
