Few RHP questions

Rhp heat objects more than the air so what you can do is set the temp of the rhp so it is 80-82 on ground under it, make sure the hide is also within 78-82 , then use flex watt on the other 1/3 with no rhp and set it so it will be no more than 94 under the substrate. You will need a thermostat for each heating device.

I used to have it set up like this.. but i found that the hot side was a consistent 92 degrees, but with the RPH on the "cool" side, to get the temp of the air to 80 degrees, it heated up the floor of my cool side to nearly 90 degrees. My BP was stressed because it didnt really have a cool side. Instead, i put the RHP and the heat pad on the same side. That way my cool side's substrate was the proper 80 degrees, and the hot side is about 92. Snake is much happier now.

In the beginning of my post I said that rhps heat object more than the air so to set the rhp so the GROUND is 80. If the rhp is set so the ground is 80 there is no way for the ground to be more than 80. You had yours set until the air reached 80 when Im saying set ground to 80. Rhp help with ambient but like I said heat objects more, for example substrate.
