Rhp heat objects more than the air so what you can do is set the temp of the rhp so it is 80-82 on ground under it, make sure the hide is also within 78-82 , then use flex watt on the other 1/3 with no rhp and set it so it will be no more than 94 under the substrate. You will need a thermostat for each heating device.
