Can Internal or External Parasites from BP Transmit to Human?

I just made an Health Examinations appointment for my new snake tmr.

I know salmonella from a snake can transmit to human but not RI.

But what if a snake has internal and external parasites such as hookworms, roundworms, mites, and ticks?
Can one be infected by just handling an infected snake?

Yea, its been shown via VPI's study of the snake mite that they can for a short while live on a warm blooded host so take that for what its worth

I've seen people have snakes with tapeworms (usually wild-caught) but I'm not sure about the others. I would think that you could contract the parasite via contact with infect fecal matter or bedding.
