I would just leave her alone for a bit. If you just got her you need to let her adjust to her new environment, so try not to handle her for a week or so.
My pastave girl hisses at me every now and then when I go to pick her up, but never strikes. Once she's in my hands she calms down immediately and handles great. I wouldn't be too concerned about that. I've heard that if you are nervous and hesitate picking her up you are more likely to have her strike though, or in your case flee.
