From Kaa to Karma!

Early on in May(the 2nd), I got my first ball python from PetSmart. Originally I was told that she was male and so, 'he' was named Kaa. But, there is a friend of mine who owns 20+ BPs said that he could probe Kaa for me if I wasn't sure, and I wasn't. Turns out that he was a she!!

I'm okay with it though, a female het pied is still good with me, although I don't see myself ever breeding them. Max amount of BPs I want is maybe 4.

Why not keep Kaa? In the new movies Kaa is a female (Scarlett Johansson)

Glad you found out the gender. What makes you think she's Het Pied?

When I first bought Karma, I didn't really ask stuff like age, morph that stuff; I was too excited

But about two weeks after I got her I asked if they had anything like records about her and thankfully they did! PetSmart actually buys their ball pythons from a local breeder. Found out that Karma was a pastel het pied and 6 months, don't know how they managed to have her gender wrong though.


@Rikoku Before I had even purchased my snake I knew that if it was a male, Kaa and if female Karma. Besides that, I've always thought that Kaa was a male name, from the very first time that I read The Jungle Book.
