    Reptile keeper problems

So I just picked up a pair of mourning geckos today, after YEARS of wanting some. I'm so stoked-- they are so tiny, and such fierce little hunters. They are destroying a bunch of fruit flies before my very eyes. They are also already chirping audibly to each other, like tiny little birds. I am just sitting here and mentally like "WOW! OH MY GOD WOW!" and everyone else is like "Yes, they're very cute."

I'm like OMG what is wrong with you people... how can you be this lacadaisical?! Tiny chirping dinosaurs in my palm!!

Anyone else ever feel baffled by the lack of caring from the rest of the family about a prized new acquisition?

Yep. Or when you talk to any animals or speak like you're making them talk and everyone's looking at you like you're crazy lol.
Then again, maybe I am a lil bit crazy lol.

    Yeah, I know that feeling.
Good luck with the gekos. Those are on my "someday" list.

No one I know personally ever gets it.

Here are a few. They are very hard to photograph.

My fiance is more interested than most of my family, but even she was like, "Yes, very cute, now let me go play FIFA please."
