    I have this happen a lot as well, the sites being uploaded to see the coding on the original photo regardless if you've changed or manipulated/flipped it in paint or photoshop. One work around I've found is opening the photo in windows photo viewer, rotating it there, closing, opening and rotating back. It seems to wipe out the hard coding and then my photos upload as I want them to. I hope that works for you too! it's super frustrating! (edit to add - note that I am using a PC, I don't do internet on my phone, so I don't know what the work around would be on a phone)
