Beauty snakes
I've recently fell in love with these snakes! Unfortunately I've been unable to find a lot of information and resources to help me. So I was hoping you guys could help me with your experience or give me links. And I would love to see pics if anyone has them!

Re: Beauty snakes
My husband has a VBB, from Zerkle Reptile. I couldn't find much information on them in English, and my Google-Fu is generally strong. If you know German there does seem to be more literature.
Here's a pic of Màh San Long. He's about 9 months old, IIRC, and getting some attitude. And length! When he's being grumpy he rattles his tail. Very fast snake. When he was smaller you could calm him down a bit by balling him up in your hands, but now he's too big for me to do that, and about outgrown my husband's hands, too.
Wow, the picture is old - December 31st. He's hard to get pictures of in his enclosure, and I don't think of it when he's out.
Currently he's in an tall ExoTerra-style viv, and a week or so his "grownup" cage from AP should be arriving - 4' x 2' x 3' tall. He's definitely arborial. He's currently on rat fuzzies, probably going up to pups soon. We leave it in a terra-cotta flowerpot saucer and it disappears fairly promptly.
Zerkle Reptile posts in fits and starts on FB, they breed lots of different old world ratsnakes, some really gorgeous ones. Between day jobs, reptiles, and shows, they aren't always able to answer e-mail right away, but Amy Zerkle is really helpful.

Re: Beauty snakes
Last weekend we set up Màu Xanh's new AP A20 cage, Saturday we built his new jungle gym, and Sunday I liberally festooned it with artificial vines. He's much happier now that he has greenery to lurk in again - he was not happy with how barren the new cage was last week. He even came out and showed off last night.

I have an A20 that I want to do this with....Right now it just has the snake, a log, and a couple hides lol. I've been meaning to pick up some pvc pipe. Did you attach the PVC pipes to the sides?

Re: Beauty snakes
No, the structure is freestanding. The base (a big C shape open toward the back) is glued together and extends most of the way to the back wall, and one upright comes down and rests on the shelf. Almost all the other parts are just jam-fit. The vines are cable-tied on.
Màu Xanh is a *lot* happier with the greenery, he's often out and pretending to be a vine, even during the day.

Here's some pictures from before I added the vines. Looks like I mis-remembered, there's two legs coming down to the shelf.
