    It's sad, but true. It's best to just avoid pet stores altogether and give your money to reputable breeders that care about the health of their pets, or even try to rescue a ball python from Craigslist or something.

    Buying animals from chain stores just contributes to the problem, regardless of your intentions. Though I am happy that your little enchi has found a home that will treat him right.
