Everyone is like....
Everyone is all, my snake hasn't eaten in a couple weeks.
14 out of my 17 male breeders have not eaten in a couple months.

I'm pretty new to snake ownership, but I've read enough on here that I won't start to worry unless they're quite young, or clearly dropping weight. I think that my first male is under the misconception that he's going to go visit a lady some time soon... he's much more interested in the other tubs than he is in the rodents I offer. But without articles about BP's and their eating habits, I wouldn't know that it wasn't something to worry about!
If I hadn't read that Kingsnakes may decide to self-brumate, I'd have been really worried when my male did. But once he decided to start eating again, now he's insatiable and growing faster than before.

My 155 gram snake, that won't eat, just had a bad shed. Probably due to the mites. He moves around his 75 gallon glass tank all day, so I moved it into the basement, where he's taken to spending all his time soaking in the extra large dog dish I got at PETCO for his water bowl. I know he's just a Normal, but I can't wait to breed him to see what cool morphs come out. I'm hoping for Panda Pieds het for Awesome

Re: Everyone is like....
I had two come off an 8 and 9 month strike respectively in the last two weeks. I've been one happy lady. Of course two others decided to start refusing around the same time. So the cycle starts all over again! Lol

Heck one of my 2015 females went off food in mid-December and just started eating again earlier this month. She lost maybe 10 grams. No rhyme or reason to it as far as I can see. Every other snake that age in the rack eats like a pig.

I wish some of these new members would utilize the search function . It appears there's a few new threads everyday " my snake hasn't eaten in 10 days and I'm so worried" no offense to the newbies but this topic has been beaten to death
