    Soaking all day

So I noticed my male soaking this morning and after work he is still soaking. I did notice mites a few weeks ago but I've been treating with provent a mite every 2 weeks and reptile spray every week. His last reptile spray and provent a mite treatment was last Thursday. I dont see any mites on him but its a possibility they are not all dead yet. I just think it's odd he hasn't went in his hide at all today.

What are your enclosure temps and humidity levels? He could be too hot, or getting ready to shed...or, he may still have mites. Check closely around the eyes, in the heat pits, and near the cloaca.

Hot side 93 under substrate 89 above, cool side 83 outside hide 82 inside hide, humidity 66. These are average everyday levels except humidity will dip to the lowest I've seen 55 but its on every 3 hr 5 second mist with vent of v400 covered and the highest it will get that I've seen right after a mist cycle is 68 but average is 62 until he goes into shed then I add a couple seconds to mist cycle to give him a 67-75 humidity level.

I checked him over good and didn't see any mites and then I fed him and he drug rat into hide so then I investigated his water bowl and there was no mites in there. I look in every morning to check to see if he's out and he is always poking his head out of his hide waiting for me lol but this morning at 4:45 am he was in his water bowl and I got home around 5pm so he was in there for at least 12hrs. Idk how long he was in there before I woke up.

Just curious, but how do you know he spent 12 hours soaking?

Lol ok it's an educated guess. He was there at 4:45am when I woke up and at 5:30am when I left and then I asked my girlfriend if he was still there when she woke up and he was at 8:30am and still there when she left for nursing school at 10:00am, I work 2 miles away from my house so on lunch I drive home everyday and he was still in same exact position at 12:05pm and then was still there at 12:50pm then I got out at 3:30 and drove to get my girlfriend and arrived home at about 5:00pm and he was in exact same position until I picked him up to inspect him and then fed and looked in water bowl. Yes it's possible he got out and hid for awhile and came back but with the timeline I have I'm pretty sure he was there for at least 12hrs. Honestly probably a little longer since he was pretty settled in when I woke up but I can't say how much before, could of been 10-15 mins or could of been hours before.

I fed my snakes the other day and I have a coral glow male that's about 250 grams and was completely submerged in his water with just the tip of his nose sticking out LOL I didn't even think to check for mites. But I took him out of the water an onto dry bedding and closed up the tub, then about ten minutes later put a live mouse in the tub and he ate it LOL. I didn't even know ball pythons would submerge themselves in water like that until I saw him do it. I guess I better check him for mites the next feeding, although it may be tough since coral glows naturally have black spots all over them. He didn't look like he was in shed either, just kind of weird.
