    Puzzles

I am a vender at the Michigan Reptile Expo in Taylor, MI. While I was at the last show I went to find me a banana to add to my collection. Sadly I did not find a banana but I did find a beautiful Caramel-Albino 66% het for puzzle.

The vender that sold me this girl said that "based on her temperament I am fairly confident she has the puzzle gene".

My question, and I think I already know the answer. Does the puzzle, or any, gene have a temperament as part of their characteristics?

Now I did not buy this girl for the puzzle gene, I bought her for the same reason I have bought all my snakes, I bought her 'cause I think she is beautiful and will add a good solid mix into my breeding down the road.

Thank you in advance for all of your time and assistance,
    Eric

I've had a chat with Sean Bradley from Exotics by Nature who proved out the puzzle gene has said that most puzzle/het females have quite a defensive attitude

Thank you for the response. She is a feisty one, she has taken a strike every time she has been taken out for a bin cleaning. Thought she may just be a little edgy.

That is interesting though, not quite the answer I was expecting.

    Thank you.

That's the only reason I didn't get my banana.

I've never seen anything that would lead me to believe that any morph is more prone to certain behaviors than any other. I can site examples of puppy dogs and demons from Hades for most any morph you care to name.

    Thank you for your insight.

This is more of what I was expecting for an answer. Especially since I have a Lemon Blast that thinks it's cool to casually go up to my arm and bite it, and a Fire that thinks it is OK to pee on me every time he is held.
