Night Time Temp Drops

Hey Guys, Excuse me i am new, and still in the SUPER paranoid phase...

I've modded my tank by adding Duct Insulation to 3 sides, Put a Mini UTH on the side of the tank (at the top) and added a Light fixture 1 foot from the top of the tank with a 100w normal bulb.
Plus my Larger UTH for the hot spot, on a dimmer set to about 65%(max it has ever gotten to was 95deg.) ....all of this keeps me at the following(during the day)
Humidity 55-60%
Hot Side:
Belly = 89-92 degrees
Ambient = 84

Cool Side:
Belly = 75-79
Ambient = 78-80

My worry is at night the temps drop to the following, with my room thermostat set to 70 (highest it will go)
Hot Side:
Belly = 83-86 degrees
Ambient = 77

Cool Side:
Belly = 71 - 73
Ambient = 70

Do you think i need to be adding a Space heater to my room at night?

Question, is this a large glass tank? Can you post pictures?

Those night-time temps are a little low. Here is what I would do... I would scrap the 100w bulb over the tank altogether. Get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Flukers-Repta-.../dp/B003H200QC and a 100w CHE bulb. With this, (and the dimmer on the fixture), you can add ambient heat to the entire tank. It does not emit any light, so you can leave it on through the night. You will need to watch the temps closely for a few hours when you set it up, but it will help your temps. It WILL lower you humidity, so you may need to add an extra water bowl, or a bowl with some wet sphagnum moss or something, but it will help your temps. maybe a $40 investment.

If your tank has a solid top, I would recommend an RHP with a dimmer or thermostat.

It might be easier to insulate the outside of the tank since everything else is dialed in already. I personally don't have an issue with that drop, the warm side stays relatively warm and will likely only be that low for 8-12 hours max?
