Skin on back

Long time pet owner first time owning a BP. About a week ago my bp started his shedding process with foggy eyes and what not. So I made him a humid hide (having trouble with humidiy at the moment but should be fixed next time clean change) 2 nights ago I noticed him trying to rub off his shed so I left him be but last night I decided to check on him to make sure his shed went ok. It seems like he had no trouble shedding the skin off his belly and sides but now there's still a good amount of dried skin on his back. Should I be concerned and what should I do to help him get the rest of the skin off his back?

I have a male snake that no matter how good his humidity is he almost always sheds in patches. His belly sheds perfect and his side's, but down his back is patchy. I tried everything with his heat and humidity and nothing seemed to help. So I started taking warm water and wetting his paper towel down when I knew he was about to shed and giving him a rough log to rub on, and he sheds great that way. In the winter I sometimes have BP that have what seems like stuck shed so I soak them in a tub of luke water for about 10-15 mins and they shed a solid perfect shed.
