Well, I'm glad I didn't toss the 7 dead eggs in the trash. I separated the live babies and the dead ones into different bins last night with plans to cut the bad ones open and examine them tonight. My boyfriend pointed out a tiny head poking out of one of the supposedly dead ones!I'd poked each and everyone one last night and was sure they were all gone. So 6 babies of the 12 are now alive and squirming.

Now I'm concerned about the two little ones that crawled out of their eggs today. I rinsed them off, weighed them(44 and 46 grams) and set them up on moist paper towel to shed. Both have distended, somewhat lumpy bellies. I've seen Justin Kobylka's video on how to remove it, BUT - as a first timer, do I attempt myself? Take them to the vet?
Does this look right at all?
My miracle baby!
