You took the post too literally, sometimes you need to read what isn't said on the internet to get a persons proper tone. I post on the Blizzard gaming forums and deal with younger kids and a lot of people (adults included) can phrase things pretty badly and mean an entirely different meaning.

For example:
How long can I watch them starve could easily mean... how long do I have to come up with a plan?

It could also be he was asking for help indirectly and just really worried about his snakes (after all being panicked about the welfare of your snakes might make you write incoherently.)

Yes I was very scared but my animals are fine. I worked out a deal with my parents and they are all fed. I just got back and fed them today. I'm sorry for all the commotion I have caused it was completely unintentional and in no way are my parents bad or am I incompetent to care for my animals. I am extremely sorry.

I'd sure like some more details about your intervention.

My animals are completely fine and I worked out a deal with my parents. I love my animals and take the best care of them. They have never gone longer than a week without food being offered. I appreciate the concerns but the problem is resolved

The deal was that you uphold a simple rule: no more pets (and for a teenager, 3 snakes is PLENTY, so that's not outrageous). You broke that rule, so now you must suffer the consequences. Don't be dramatic and make it seem like your parents are snatching knots in the snakes' necks. If you need to get off your hiney and go buy food for the animals you took into your possession, get walking.

Fourth, for the love of God, you've already posted your full name here (if that's even your name. I'm really hoping you're just a troll), please don't open yourself up to criminal activity by also publishing your city and state. I would maybe take PM inquiries if folks in your area can help you out, but if my kid went to a forum to try to accuse me of animal neglect because he broke one of my rules, and then published his full name and city and state, you would have a lot more than snakes to worry about.

well ill I am very appreciative of your somehwere kind words my anaimals are fine. I have resolved the problem and just fed my animals today! My animals have never gone more than a week without being offered food, I can't say they always take it but I was NOT accusing my parents of neglect. I am completely capable of taking care of my animals and am fully aware of the danger of what I have done. I am extremely sorry for the miscommunication, the original post was meant to come across as asking for a estimate of how long I have until I need to feed them again.

This is exactly what I meant and why I don't text people. All I was saying was don't jump to conclusions until all the questions are answered. Second, it's been revealed by the OP that it was an after-fight lash post as well. Saying something like "how long do I have" in that seemingly horrifying way was more than likely a quickly thought out phrasing for, like the quoted poster said, "how long do I have for a plan".

Did I say you didn't? No. I am saying that THIS exact sentence, "I just want to know how long I have to enjoy them until they pass away," does NOT imply you were looking for help. It was pretty straightforward, and had you had left the post at that, the only thing it tells anyone is that you had zero intentions of doing anything except enjoying them while you wait for them to die.

Also, that wasn't even directed at you it was directed at the debate going on regarding your original post's meaning. So yeah, I'll say it again, glad things worked out for you.

Looking at your original post you did not come off as someone looking for help. You came off as a kid mad at his parents when you were scolded for going behind their back and getting another snake. You came on a snake forum looking for sympathy and attention, for example telling everyone you were crying as you were writing the post. I'm guessing the conversation didn't go as you had planned. If you were truly only looking for advice your post would have looked a lot different and replied to as such.
