ok today i dropped reeses's 3rd meal with me in his tank. he wouldn't touch it. thankfully i predicted this and had my mom go get some tongs this morning. i personally think he didn't notice it since he is in the blue but anyway, i did a rat dance and as soon as it moved he twitched the grabbed and consricted. so all was going well until he decided to change his methods a little.

yes reeses tried to eat the rat butt first. at first i was worried but then he did something that made me want to pick him up and put him in preschool!!!

he spit the butt part out and turned the rat around and started going head first. that seemed so smart to me. i was so proud.

after he finished the rat he did the usual, yawn, explore, sleep in hide lol.

Cool! He ate in shed. Most bp's refuse to eat during shedding stages.

i have no idea why but reeses acts like the perfect bp. i must be really lucky. i mean he eats evrytime i feede em, he has never hissed and on top of that is very kind and calm when it is handling time and on top of all of this he is ch. i have heard tons of stories about bad ch babies but reeses is fine. it is really weird. but i am very thankful for such a cool bp.
