    Most of the time mine come out to the smell of food. What I do is after the rodent is thawed I take it into my snakes room and use a hair dryer and heat the head up while blowing it toward the vent/screen in the cage. If she don't come out once you have heated the head up for a minute or so take it with tongs and dance it in front of her hide. Sometime they will strike it right from hide also.
