First post in a long while... and its My Second clutch!

So on mothers day this year, my hypo female decides to double down and lay her second clutch for me. This clutch i am really excited for. It is my long term Double recessive project phase 1. So these eggs are from my caramel male x hypo female. I am really hoping that i get a good even split on males to females. The female is still on the clutch at the moment, but I will check in on her tomorrow and pull the eggs weigh them etc... pictures to come.

5 perfect eggs. She doesnt throw a big clutch but they certainly are nice looking eggs.

Nice! Hopefully both of the clutches are healthy and also hopefully you get the project you're working on

well this is phase I. So only going to se double hets here. Unless some how in todays world they were both carrying a gene for something else random. But unlikely.

Also the other clutch was 2 years ago and 3 out of the 4 babies made it and are doing great. the 4th never started eating

So this was a shock.... the male Caramel albino must also be het orange ghost. Woot woot, my first morphs ever!

Oh and 2 weeks ago my pastel dropped 6 eggs. This one is my third clutch ever, second this year. exciting times.

with the way captive breeding is for BPs, at this point there is a good chance that poss hets have been producing babies all over with hidden genes like this. There will come a day when BP morphs are like Kingsnakes and corns.
