My husband has a VBB, from Zerkle Reptile. I couldn't find much information on them in English, and my Google-Fu is generally strong. If you know German there does seem to be more literature.

Here's a pic of Màh San Long. He's about 9 months old, IIRC, and getting some attitude. And length! When he's being grumpy he rattles his tail. Very fast snake. When he was smaller you could calm him down a bit by balling him up in your hands, but now he's too big for me to do that, and about outgrown my husband's hands, too.

Wow, the picture is old - December 31st. He's hard to get pictures of in his enclosure, and I don't think of it when he's out.

Currently he's in an tall ExoTerra-style viv, and a week or so his "grownup" cage from AP should be arriving - 4' x 2' x 3' tall. He's definitely arborial. He's currently on rat fuzzies, probably going up to pups soon. We leave it in a terra-cotta flowerpot saucer and it disappears fairly promptly.

Zerkle Reptile posts in fits and starts on FB, they breed lots of different old world ratsnakes, some really gorgeous ones. Between day jobs, reptiles, and shows, they aren't always able to answer e-mail right away, but Amy Zerkle is really helpful.
