Not sure how serious it could be. I suppose you either keep an eye on him or go to a vet. I'll say just let him settle in and relax and keep an eye on him see if he eat, drinks etc. Maybe he'll just stop doing it after a while but if it persist or he seems under stress call a vet and see what they say you should do.
