    Water & weigh ins

Had to give everybody fresh water today so I grabbed a couple of quick pics. All without flash.

Shredder is starting to get a little size to him. He weighed in at 477g (empty) today.

Trinity just had her first meal with me 4 days ago so she's got a ways to go. Today she's a slim and trim 225g.

S'ven is starting to color up a bit. I can't wait to see his next few sheds. He seems to be growing a little slower than my jungle and coastal. Slow and steady works for me too. He tipped the scales at 116g today. Up 28g from his last weigh in on 4/11.

They are all looking good ziggy. I'll be glad when shag and Edith get some shredder size to
    them.

    Re: Water & weigh ins

Thanks guys. The camera kinda mutes out the jungle's yellows a bit. We've all added some really cool carpets to our collections recently. It's great to see their popularity growing.

@ Term- These guys grow fast. My coastal has grown very impressively. He was 85g and maybe a bit undersized when he arrived on 9/2/15. He was 842g at his last weigh in on 4/19/16. I'm pretty sure he's a smidge over 900g now.

@ Lou- Carpets have taken over for me . I still love my colubrids but I don't see me adding any more. There are at least 4 more different carpets that I want but I'm only buying 1 more!

    Water & weigh ins

    They look great Zig!

Shredder reminds me so much of my Esmarelda. They seem to be about the same size. I don't weigh, but she is between 3.5 - 4 feet and the girth of a half-dollar at roughly 1.5 years old.

I feel like she has grown just this past 1-2 weeks! Probably the way she fills out her new larger perch, deceiving looks. Time for a larger enclosure.

Esmarelda, JCP, in usual hunt mode on her new perch 2 days after feeding.

Sorry about the stain on the glass obstructing her pattern.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    Nice trio!

I have a very, very picky coastal mix. She is over 6 feet long coming up on 3 years old but she goes long periods with no food.

Funny thing is she has eaten a 1 pound rabbit before so when she does eat she goes big.

    I really want a Bredli!!

    Re: Water & weigh ins

Yes, carpets are getting more popular but I think that some people are still intimidated by their "nippiness" even though it is short lived and really more comical than painful. Beyond that I love them to pieces even though I did just get my first boa and she is awesome as well.

Reinz - she is looking beautiful as always. Isabel disappears in her hide for two days after feeding and once she reemerges she back to basking and curiosity

Ziggy - I feel you, it hard to not want more carpets. I know I'm not done with them yet. Good luck on one more
