Oh yeah, it's happened. Now I look for "sausage butt" before a long handling session.
One of my retics did it to a vet tech during an exam. He was a little miffed at the time so there was some force behind it; he sprayed the tech, the wall, and the floor. The tech thought the non-bitey end was the safer end of the snake!
