Lavender Albino Color Change

Does anyone know around what age the white on a lavender albino should begin to transition to lavender? I have a lavender spider that is a little over a year old. The only lavender I am seeing so far is a little on the head and the neck. The rest of the white areas are still pure white.

That is good to hear in a way. I was starting to believe I got duped. The eyes are the correct color though. A much deeper red than my normal albinos. Somehow I had never heard that the gene expressed itself differently with the spiders. Are there any other known combinations that the lavender does not express well?

i just think that Albino Spiders, like Albino Pinstripes, are high yellow/low white Albinos. their whites are thin lines that fade or yellow may bleed into over time. so i would think the same would apply to one that is Lavendar Albino.

Edit: in addition, i should add that i think a Lavendar/Albino Spider or Pinstripe would make an interesting REL-like project by adding Axanthic to get rid of the yellow to leave an almost all white BP.

Yeah, I imagine logically pins would be the same. He hasn't started to bleed yellow into white yet so I was hoping for a little lavender coloration. Its ok, I got him for the genes anyway. His pattern is pretty good and has some good outlining. He is the daddy of my Lavender REL project. Axanthic is a good idea. If I can find a nice female I may play around with it.

I've seen pins develope purple like you would expect, but for some reason the spiders don't seem to. However the lav spider I've seen were higher contrast as an adult vs an albino spider. So its probably still going to be different than if you got an albino spider.
