NEED HELP- Feeding tipsIm
Hello Everyone, I am in need to some tips- here is the situation
My Ball python female seems uninterested in food, she is just over 700 grams and if i was told correctly hatched in 2014- i got her from a local exotic pet store in my area. the first 2 months i owned her she would not accept meals- Frozen thawed M rats- after the 2nd month i grew worried and eventually talked to the owner of the pet store and he said that if i left her in his care he would get her to eat. Apparently she had two M rats in the five days she was in his care. I have done my best to research tips and tricks along with eating habits and environmental (quirks?) basically what her environment has to be. She is housed in a 20g breeder tank with a wire top. I have had her back for 2 weeks now and she still wont accept a meal.

Re: NEED HELP- Feeding tipsIm
Pls describe habitat, temps, what you use to heat, what thermostats, temp gauges... Usually, non eating is related to habitat not being correct.

Re: NEED HELP- Feeding tipsIm
Are you sure she ate 2 medium rats in his care for a duration of 5 days? This actually sounds odd considering she wasnt eating for you for 2 months prior... So, either he is full of it, or your husbandry isnt correct.

Re: NEED HELP- Feeding tipsIm
1st..u shld have hides on both cool and hot end... All care sheets tell u this.
W your set up it sounds as if thr isnt a temp gradient possibly too... Cool side shld be cool..not hav a heat lamp over it.
I suggest highly you go read care sheet on this site and get your habitat in order.. That alone can cause eating issues..
