day 50, bother treating for mold?

Day 50 and there's a little white fuzz starting on the boob part. It's more obvious towards the bottom but I didn't want to pick the egg up for a pic. Would you bother trying to treat the mold this late? Baby was still wiggling when I candled last night and egg is really softening up so I think it'll be out sooner than later.

I would just leave it alone. But how were you going to treat the mold just curious?

If it's not broke don't fix it. If I were you, I would leave it alone at this point. You are just days from it hatching. So I would do nothing to mess it up. Besides if it gets worse you can safely cut the egg in a few days.

Thanks I think i will just keep an eye on it and probably cut it after the weekend. Thankfully I'm working a lot so I won't just be staring waiting for it to pip!

Word from the wise is the eggs has an issue let the baby pip on its own. Opening the egg up early before the baby is ready will expose it to the mold and other problems. Even with a perfectly healthy egg it's a calculated risk. People don't tell you how many babies they lose to clipping early.
