    Ball python help!!

There are strange light brown splotches on my ball python! They kinda look like a water stain... He's acting normally, he ate last night, he shed about a week ago and overall regular behavior. These spots appeared about a day ago and havnt gone away.... I don't know what to do!

Your images aren't working, can you upload them to photobucket?

They're still broken - try tinypic, it'll probably be faster

Do you happen to know what genes are in your snake? I assume something in the Blue eyed lucy complex with maybe a vanilla?

What kind of morph is he? Do the brown blotches feel different from his normal scales? In the first picture it looks like he's browning out, but in the 2nd one the brown blotches look like they're a different texture

    Re: Ball python help!!

it looks like the very top layer of the new shed came off with the old skin - this happens occasionally. If you look at the the surface will look rough but be at a slightly lower level than the scales around it.
