he's a butter x lesser (possible pastel) those brown splotches are not supposed to be there....

here is a pic of him after a bath a while back.

What kind of morph is he? Do the brown blotches feel different from his normal scales? In the first picture it looks like he's browning out, but in the 2nd one the brown blotches look like they're a different texture

they do! they feel a little rougher than his normal scales... which makes me think its old shed but he had a clean shed last week

this is him after shed. all clear

Re: Ball python help!!
it looks like the very top layer of the new shed came off with the old skin - this happens occasionally. If you look at the the surface will look rough but be at a slightly lower level than the scales around it.
