Hello. Our (my wife and I) 900 gram male normal went on hunger strike the end of last October. Just wanted to share my joy in watching him eating a rat. I know it doesn't seen like much but for some reason I feel like I won a prize. Anyway just thought I'd share.

I had a male who went 9 months. When he finally ate it was like a weight had been lifted lol

Congrats on your victory! I completely understand the feeling. I have a male that's a constant bad eater but also has the spider gene so he has neuro issues. Every meal he takes is a small victory in my book. He's a frustrating little guy but so sweet and silly that I can't help but love him to death. He's taught me a lot of patience and made me a better keeper.

Thanks everyone!!! He's turned back into his normal piggish self since he first started eating again. Oh well, we still love the little dork.

I have a normal who pretty much fast every winter. From Oct/Nov to about now she just don't eat. Dosent lose much weight so I don't worry too much. It's also become so normal to me. It's a great feeling once she starts again though
