Weird Action.
I decided to see what Sid would do when I filled the sink with a bit of water. He slithered down into it and drank. He then slithered to the edge after he was done and kinda headed down but stopped. Water poured/dripped out of his mouth. Is there anything I should be worried about? First time I've seen him do something like this, but I never caught him drinking before, so, just curious. Thanks in advance.

Re: Weird Action.
Maybe he decided he didn't like the water? I've heard of people's snakes drooling/letting water out when picked up so it seems they have a strange way of holding in what they drink. Interesting that he did it on his own though

Re: Weird Action.
Mine won't drink at all if I use tap water or if his bowl has not been changed recently (usually after 2 days). At night he'll go over to his bowl and just barely dip the tip of his tongue against the surface, if he does not find it satisfactory, he'll turn around and rest his chin on the edge of his bowl, yawn, and stare at me. If I still don't get the hint, he'll track me every time I move Once I change his water, he'll drink his fill and go back to a hide or curl up on a branch.
Maybe yours though he was thirsty then tasted the water and thought "Yuck", and since they can't spit in disgust, the water just dribbled out

Re: Weird Action.
Lol Valentine is very picky about her water too! I've never seen her 'drool' any out but she only seems to drink fresh water. I change her water every 2 days and she always comes out for a drink then.
The little princess has her own Brita LOL we fill the Brita then leave it over night to rid of any chlorine ect. from the tap. I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you unless it became a regular act.
