    From all of my research this is rather common. They can go off feed during breeding and for a while afterwards. What you have to watch for is them losing too much weight. It has been stated many times that males will breed themselves to death and they should be closely monitored during this period. That being said i also have read that someone had a male bp that had not eaten in 18months and had shown no ill effect from it. It all comes down to if the BP is healthy. If they are then don't worry. Just my thoughts. Good luck!!

    As far as getting them back eating...attempt to feed on feed day. Maybe skip a week or two between feed periods(as long as they are healty). Maybe they still have the scent from the female on them which is keeping them in breed mode. You can try a wipe down on them and a good cleaning of their tubs to see if that makes a difference.
