If you can maintain temps, humidity, and your bp eats regularly, then you're golden. Assuming your bp is adequately protected from the lights.
I wouldn't worry about your room being dark either. They're hiding all daylight hours anyway... so UV/ambient lighting is wasted on them anyway.
I have small LEDs for viewing only, otherwise no extra lights.

Good job leaving the heat mat off since you don't have a thermostat to regulate it! You did the right thing there for sure.
I can't offer any advice since I've only ever used tubs but I'm sure people who can help are going to ask for numbers: hot side temps, cool side temps, humidity percentage.

Reptile Dysfunction
Your set up resembles the European one's I've seen, and it sounds like you have everything right. My vivariums are glass, but I do plan to eventually replace them with something else (haven't decided what). There's nothing wrong with the lights either. Recommendations I've seen for lights are typically 10-12 hour day cycles. They may not require special lighting, but that doesn't mean that it can't be provided.
