How many ventilation holes do you have? I have some BRB's in 41-qt tubs in a rack, each tub has six holes, three on each of the short sides. Any more than that and they are too dry.

ummm, yeeeah ...so i have roughly 40 air holes each about the gauge of a sharpie marker... starting to think i may have gotten a little carried away. I'm going to cover about half of them and see how that works.

Too many holes.
When you start drill'n, go low and go slow.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Re: Possible humidity solution???
UPDATE: tried a sponge in multiple locations and in various arrangements (including a strange but ingenious paper towel tent style), helped a little but not much. Covered up all but six of the 45 air holes that I had overzealously drilled – some help but still losing moisture constantly. At my wits end, I had an epiphany; the lid. Let me remind everyone that I am using Sterilite tub on its side (for front access). I had always assumed the lid was a non-issue because its one of the heavy duty "latch" styles. But while the lid was certainly secure and unlikely to fall off or allow escape, upon further inspection I realized that it was providing basically a 9 foot air vent around the entire perimeter. Three dollars worth of foam weatherstripping later and I do believe my humidity worries are over!
Thank, everyone, for all your help!

Lol well that's a lot more creative than my balled up wet paper towel trick.
