I use to live next to a Chicken farm many years ago in Denton, TX. They would sell eggs on the honor system. You would go to the shack and pick what size you wanted and prices were listed. Then place your cash in a drop box.
This place was not too far from the Universities. Things got pretty political with the Shaw of Iran and the Middle Eastern students started stealing the eggs to use in protests.
Well, that put an end to our farm fresh eggs.
