The plugs, voltage and frequency are different.

Plug converters are cheap - but would rely on the thermostat being dual voltage/frequency. A voltage/frequency converter would be expensive and inefficient since the heater would also be powered via the converter.

I know my Microclimate EVO is 230V/50Hz only.
