Now if you REALLY want to go and spend money on CO2, get dry ice from a store, get a styrofoam cooler, get a mouse carrier cage (the ones that are plastic with holes). Put the dry ice on one side of the cooler (don't touch it with your hands, use tongs) then on the other side put the mouse/rat in the carrier. The dry ice will have filled the cooler with CO2 and have killed it. This method is expensive and usually only used if you are killing a lot of mice at one time.
Lol i think ill use the co2 method since rats freak me out so i want least of amount of contact possible and i need it for small and medium rats. Thanks for your help!

co2 method is pretty easy. If you dont want to build a whole contraption, a plastic box, a cup of water and dry ice will do the trick.

I feel like if your snake will eat f/k it will eat f/t. Are you heating up the f/t enough?

I have not tried f/k yet. If she takes f/k i will try f/t again after a few feedings.

I've killed about 24 rats/mice using cervical dislocation and have never degloved an animals tail. If you are holding the tail at the base firm and don't hesitate while pulling it won't happen.
