Reoffering f/t?
When i first bought one of my bps she was around 1000grams and refused f/t rats for months and lost around 300grams until i offered live and now she gained almost all her weight back. I had her for awhile now and i want to try f/t again cause i dont really feel comfortable feeding live and where i get my rats i cant really rely on having the sizes i need every week. What is the best possible way to reoffer her f/t cause when i first got her i literally tried everyway and she didnt show any interest.

Make sure you thaw it slowly and get the rodent hot, like it's alive. I use a blow dryer to do it. Literally put it right in her face to get her to strike. There's a great video on it. I will try to find it.

Offered f/t to her today she seemed hungry but refused again. Guess i have to continue to feed live which i wish i didnt have to. Anything else i can try? It looks like she does not even recognize f/t as food and almost seems scared of it.

Re: Reoffering f/t?
Do you "dance" the rodent around? Some snakes like that. Make the mouse/rat move around like it's alive (use tongs!), make sure it's nice and warm, same temp as a live rodent. If you do it right sometimes they can be fooled into thinking it's alive. I got my little guy to take f/t that way.

She has no interest in f/t what so ever. I did everything possible. Do you think she will take prekilled if she wont take f/t?
