    Road to recovery

I posted on the 27th about my new Manokwari female gtp having lumps on her side and mites. I treated her twice for the mites and knock on wood haven't seen any since. I'm going to use this thread to update everyone on her road to recovery.

She had her first visit to the vet today which I don't think went very well as the first thing the vet said was "She looks horrible". That didn't feel so great. She weighed in at 108 grams completely empty. The lumps on her side did turn out to be some sort of parasite which the vet lanced and removed. He also gave her a dose of pancur for deworming. No tests were ran but I did pay in advance for a fecal so as soon as I can get her to eat and poop I can drop it off and have results next day and go from there. Even though he didn't recommend it I'm also on next vist going to ask for a blood test.

    Here are my next steps:

I'm having trouble keeping a nice stable humidity in her enclose as it is a 12x12x12 exo terra with a screen top which all the humidity escapes through. I purchased this today should be here in the next couple days

I think this will help me keep the humidity more stable. Also with 3 of the 4 sides being a solid color I think it will help her feel more secure. Also moving her into a less trafficy area of my apartment I'm hoping I can get her feeding.

    Feeding:
I bought her on the 27th and was told she took a hopper mouse a week before I bought her but she hasn't been interested in food at all since. I've offered 3 times once ft hopper and then two live hoppers on two separate occasions with no interest at all. As for hydration I've witnessed her drink from her water bowl and off her coils after I've misted and have also soaked her twice 30 minutes each time in a tub of lukewarm water.

Sorry for the long wall of text and no pictures. I just wanted to keep a timeline for myself and also update everyone on my gorgeous girls road to recovery and my journey by her side. If anyone has any suggestions comments anything please feel free.

This is her on day one. The 27th of Feb
