My 770g female just tagged me for no reason. She was out exploring our bed, and for some reason randomly went into a striking position. Like a dummy I thought, she was being weird, so I put my hand in front of her face and bam got me. I'm not even sure what I was thinking doing that but I did it. My wife just had the beardie out, and we think she smelled it on her clothes.I guess what I'm trying to say is they were pythons way before they were pets. I don't jump as much as I use to, but it still startles me.
