    I don't know where you heard that they don't pee... they definitely DO pee - they have solid urates IN ADDITION to pee, there is very often liquid urine involved in their excrement passage!

    There may be liquid passed in small amounts but it's not urine in the mammalian sense. Large amounts of liquid waste from a snake particularly on a daily basis is abnormal.

    Well, they're not mammals, they don't do anything on a mammalian basis. But it's perfectly normal for them to pee when they DO pass excrement... on their own timeframe.
