Queen bees have spiders - spider has wobble. So does Woma, HGW, Champagne, Super Sable, and Power Ball.

Also, for comparison, here is a Spinner Blast. There's an extra gene in there affecting striping, but you should get the idea about color of Pastel and Spider together.

Thank you to smokeyfb, Deborah, JodanOrNoDan, Caspian, and Lizardlicks for sharing your info and helping me out! Any of you know if head wobble or spine kink is apparent soon after birth or is it something that gets worse with age?

Wobble can be severe as hatchlings and get better with age but the opposite is true too, and some will remain with a very mild wobble throughout their lives. Wobble can also increase with stress or higher temperature as well.

Bumblebees! That's one of my top three that caught my eye Deborah! I'll be steering in another direction for the morph I purchase I believe. Do you happen to know if all queen bees have head wobble as well?

If it has Spider in it, it wobbles to a degree no matter how many genes you had to the combo

All bee morphs have the spider gene in them and will have wobble to some degree or another. I would not let it deter you though. Yes there are a small few that are really bad, most it is hardly noticeable and does not seem to affect the snake negatively at all and typically even if they do it is only when they are stressed or feeding. Our albino spider female has never displayed anything I would think to call wobble. The only indicator is she has missed a strike at food a couple times. If you are interested in a specific snake, ask to see if feed and see how it acts. The bad one can corkscrew and flip upside down the good ones, you won't see anything.

Hmmmm... I appreciate all the information everyone!!! Out of personal preference, I'm staying away from the spider gene for my first snake. I'm looking into the albinos and their morphs now... no spider gene in them of course

I wouldn't worry about the wobble really if I were you if that's a morph you really liked! Spider has always been a favorite of mine! I have a calibee and a humblebee right now and you wouldn't notice either one wobble. It was a little noticeable in my female when she was shipped but now you wouldn't see it. I had a regular spider when I was younger and I didn't really see a wobble in him either back then.




Of course there are quite a few morphs out there to choose from! You might like a reduced pattern clown.
