Pink and firm around cloaca?
Got back into BPs recently, picked up this little Butter female and have had her for since Feb 23. Didn't get much info from the seller so not sure one age, she weighed in at 111g and looked reasonable weight, not too skinny. Looked her over pretty well when I got her, she looked good and healthy. Haven't handled her much, trying to let her get acclimated. She took a live mouse on the Mar 1 (fed in separate container, no bedding ingested). Took her out tonight and noticed some pink around cloaca and it feels pretty firm. I wouldn't say it's that swollen, maybe a little. But mostly just pink and firm. Worried it might be an infection or impaction.
Temps are UTH basking spot 92, ambient warm 85 cool 79. If anything is slightly off it would be humidity which is on low side at around 40-45% (have AP T8 on the way, but for now she's in 40G size glass terrarium). But she does have humid hide and multiple hides for different temp zones. Top of terrarium covered to help with humidity, foam insulation surrounding terrarium to help with heat. Her behavior has been normal, seen her take a drink and has moved between hides. She hasn't pooped yet, but she did produce urine/urates once on Feb 24-25th.
I'm guessing a vet visit is in order, but wanted to get some opinions. Thanks in advance for any help.

Beautiful reptile. How are you heating the enclosure? Are you using a thermostat or controlling device on the heat mat?

Using UTH with Vivarium Electronics VE-200 thermostat, and CHE on a dimmer to boost ambient temps a little because house is cooler in winter. Thermostat set to 96F at probe (aluminum taped underneath enclosure), gives me about 92F basking spot. Checked with IR thermometer.
So likely this is normal in preparation of more urates being produced? Never saw this in my BP I had years ago, that's why it raised some concern.

Excellent. Just looking at one of the main differential possibilities. Glad we can rule that out. Fantastic work. Any change in the coloration or firmness of the protrusion? Beautiful reptile btw.

Thanks Albert. I noticed it Fri night. Unfortunately I then had to get on plane Sat morning to attend funeral. Girlfriend is watching animals, will get a report back from her tonight or tomorrow and I will be home Tues.

Looks like everything is fine. Returned home to find she had a large movement of urine/urates and area around cloaca looking and feeling "normal" again. Better safe than sorry I guess! Thanks for the help all.
