    Over-shedding?

We've got a Mojave giving us... I wouldn't say trouble, but he's definitely got us scratching our heads. My understanding is that BPs shed when they need to shed... but I can't imagine this guy needing to shed SO MUCH to grow, he's not really getting bigger. He gave us a shed... then shed again 15 days later... then again 20 days later... and now he's blue again, 28 days later!! He's only eaten once between each shed, so he can't be growing THAT much - is this "normal" (something not to be concerned about), is there a reason he might be doing this that has to do with his husbandry (he's in a rack, none of our other snakes are shedding like it's going out of style), or is this something concerning?

Any chance he's got some sort of wound he's healing up from?

Nothing we've noticed - I just pulled him out again to verify, but I don't see anything at all - not even so much as a piece of stuck shed, he's in good condition. :\ So I guess it's not that. What else could it be?
