If I was only going for a week or two I would just leave them home. It's one of the major advantages of having snakes as pets.Just make sure their water dishes are deep/big enough to not evaporate in that time frame.
Do NOT toss a frozen thawed rat in with your most trusted feeding snake who *never* turned down a meal that you *always* used to just throw in the tub and walk away without issue without checking the next morning before you go that the rat is indeed eaten! Make double sure that dead rat isn't sitting on the warm side of the tub. Ahahahahahaha. Yeah...I did that. I came home five days later to a very disgusting mess. I was relieved to find it was just the dead rat though, when I step through the door to the scent of decay I thought it was one of my snakes.
