They look very neat, but I am not crazy about the idea of the hole versus the semicircle opening of more traditional hides. I'd be worried about snakes getting stuck and/or injured when they started to outgrow the hide or hiding after a big meal. Whereas with the traditional semicircle opening the hide can lift off the floor if the snake is getting a little too big to fit.
