Got euphemisms?
I was recently trying to remember when we started doing this, but for years in our household we have referred to mice as "furry friends". The term applies whether they are running around in the walls, whether they have met their ends in mousetraps, or whether they are feeders. As in, "oh, we caught another furry friend today"; "Did you give Eclipse a furry friend today?" "Check the freezer, I think we are running low on furry friends"; "Looks like our furry friends have gotten onto the countertop again". It gets a little weird when it's "Did Hoosac eat his furry friend yet?"
When I was a kid, my mom called urates "new age snake turds", because uhh, they look like a much more new age-y version of a turd? (Hmm, maybe poop is "olde worlde snake turde"...)
What are your personal terms and euphemisms?

I call my RBI racks "filing cabinets for snakes".

Re: Got euphemisms?
Wow I hope I don't get flamed for this. **Full disclosure: My son has two pet rats that I really enjoy playing with and all my rats are respected and well taken care of whether they are to be pets, breeders, or feeders**
My son(8) and I refer to rat sizes a little bit differently. I usually have him grab feeders for me out of the rack. Which is me placing an order. Here is how the last feeding went:
2 snacks (rat pups)
11 appetizers (weaned rats)
5 dinners (small rats)
Mice are "treats". We joke that the size of his full grown females would be "buffet" but none of my snakes will get that size i plan to top out at large smalls lol. (I'm sure Snowflake and Isabella are happy for that )
Oh and for my snake rack it is a "Snake Shelf" Instead of a "Book Shelf" its a custom build out of Maple and it resembles a book shelf.
